The real secret to hosting a talk show is to listen”. Graham, a 6'9" power forward from Spingarn High School in Washington, D.C., signed with future Hall of Fame coach John Thompson at Georgetown. As a freshman in 1983–84, Graham became a key player for the Hoyas. He provided rugged defense and rebounding, appearing in all but two of the team's 37 games - starting 17. While his regular season statistics were pedestrian, Graham became a key player for the Hoyas in their quest for a national championship. In the 1984 Final Four, Graham scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and led the Hoyas to a victory over the Houston Cougars for the national championship. In the championship game, Graham scored 14 points on 7-9 shooting and was one of two Georgetown players to be named to the All-Final Four team along with Most Outstanding Player Patrick Ewing. Following the championship win, Graham – whose fiery demeanor and shaved-balded head was seen as personifying the Hoyas' aggressive playing style – appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine April 1984. He was raised by a mother who was a very strong educator, who taught in the D.C. school system for over 45 years at Banneker, where she was the girls’ basketball coach for the #1 ranking teams in the area, tennis coach, dance coach, and a national recognized double Dutch coach. She is also in the DC public school hall of fame and assisted 20+ kids in attending colleges around the country. Eric is and has been married for 31 years with 4 kids and reside in Prince George’s Co. After spending 12 years as the #1 salesman in the company working for Berkshire Hathaway’s Cort Furniture that is own by Warren Buffett. After 12 years Eric left corporate America to pursue helping the youth by volunteering with non-profits organizations such as The Building Hope Inc., Community Connections, and The Arc. He is also the founder and owner of the best meat sauce called “Little Sister’s Specialty” and runs a non-profit called Ernie’s Plate which feeds homeless families and Veterans in the DMV. Eric’s knowledge and passion for helping the less fortunate are well documented in the eyes of all the people he touched and helped over the years.
